My practice encompasses many things; with regard to technique, it primarily incorporates photography, sculpture, book arts, and installation. Conceptually, my practice focuses on issues surrounding the body and how it is viewed or socially engaged with, as evident in systems of organization and archives; yonic gestures; and humor in socially sinister dynamics around gender, age, and sexuality. My work explores the uneasy space where intimacy meets administration—where private experience becomes public record. Currently, I live in New York and work both in NYC and the Bay Area, where I received my BA in art studio from the University of California, Davis.
